Michael Brisbin has been a full-time Home Inspector since 1993; serving the greater Puget Sound area. With experience in the remodeling and the construction industry, mechanical and civil engineering and worked for the Building and Public Works dept. at the City of Bothell.  Mike attended the University of Washington, majoring in Civil and Mechanical engineering.

Mike has performed thousands of inspections around the Puget Sound area, in four counties; inspections on single-family homes, multiplexes, condos, manufactured homes and occasionally commercial buildings. Mike currently concentrates in King county, Snohomish county, Camano Island, South Whidbey Island and occasionally expanding beyond these areas. SEE:  Request an Inspection, for specific locations. 

Michael is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) – Northwest Chapter, since 1996. As a member of ASHI, Mike follows the strict Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, which all members must adhere to as a minimum inspection standard. To remain a member of ASHI, Mike must acquire at least 20 hours of approved education credits annually.

Mike is also an Associate Member of the Washington State Pest Control Association (WSPCA).  To maintain the Washington State Pest Inspector License, 60 hours (every 5 years) of approved education credits, is required in the Home Inspection/Pest/WDO fields, to maintain the WSDA Pest Inspector license. This WSDA Pest Inspector License (#44353) has been required for home inspectors since 1993; Mike acquired his license in 1993, at the beginning of his home inspection career.

Jane Brisbin
Jane Brisbin, (office manager and Mike’s wife)  works  in the office,  answering the phones, booking inspections and doing the paperwork.  Jane has been in the Real Estate industry, in one form or the other, since 1987, and is very familiar with the Home Inspection aspect. Her knowledge brings a unique understanding to the concerns of the perspective Home Buyers and Sellers. She is well qualified to answer many of your questions about the Home Inspection process.

Mike and Jane have attended many of the National ASHI conventions, Canadian (CAPHI-British Columbia) ASHI conventions/annual meetings and the Inspection Training Associates (ITA) National Expo 2005 and 2007.
